Adam is an Indigenous advocate and world traveler who is raising awareness of the need to revive ancestral medicine and ancient knowledge-based practices to help heal ourselves and our Earth Mother.

Adam’s life mission is to help bring back to the forefront those globally indigenous and ancient forgotten principals, traditions, knowledge, rites, ceremonies, and medicines that once had a place and meaningful influence in this world.

Adam Shield of the Feather is of Native American Oneida Nation and South American (eagle and condor) heritage.

Adam is the founder of Tree of Light organization, whose mission is to bring community together in support of the hoop of life, strengthen spirits through education, traditions, and ceremony, and to foster civic engagement through Indigenous based models and values. Tree of Light is modeled after the teachings and practices of the Medicine Wheel.
