Mayan Priestess & Founder of The Path

Grandmother Flordemayo is a Mayan curandera, healer, and prayerful messenger for Mother

Earth. Born in the highlands of Central America as the youngest of 15 children, she was blessed

from an early age with the gift of Sight and trained by her mother (a Curandera and midwife) in the

sacred tradition of herbs, women’s medicine, and honoring the Earth. She carries her family’s

sacred staff, passed down through 12 generations.

Guided by a vision from the Beloved Mother, she founded The Path, home to the Seed

Temple (Estancia, NM) where heirloom seeds are preserved, prayed over, and gifted

to future generations. A founding member of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous

Grandmothers and the Mother Earth Delegation of United Indigenous Nations, she has offered

ceremony and healing in communities around the globe.

Her presence is a prayer for unity, her work a living bridge between ancient ways and the needs

of our modern world. In every gathering, Grandmother Flordemayo calls us to remember our

sacred connection to the Earth and to walk in beauty, gratitude, and respect for all life.
