Grandmother Hato-Lee Siaki is of the Tūhoe and Ngāti Kahungungu tribes of Aotearoa, known as Ngā Tamariki o Te Kohu — “The Children of the Mist.” Born into a lineage of tribal leaders and healers, she was raised in the language, rituals, and prayers of her people, where connection with Atua and Tipuna has always been paramount to well-being.

A healer, teacher, and cultural advisor, she has traveled across the Pacific and beyond, gathering and sharing the ancestral wisdom of Mātauranga Māori. She serves as a Spiritual Counselor and Trainer in holistic Māori social services, specializing in family and tribal healing.

Together with her sister, Grandmother Taiha-Moetu, she travels the world as a bearer of the Old Ways, offering ceremony, guidance, and empowerment to all who gather. With humility and aroha, she carries forward the ancestral teachings so that future generations may remember who they are, where they come from, and the sacredness of their connection to the Earth.
