Grandmother Taiha-Moetu is of the Tūhoe Nation — Ngā Tamariki o Te Kohu, the Children of the Mist. Descended from tribal leaders and healers, she was raised in the heart of Te Urewera, where karakia, rituals, and daily connection with Atua and Tipuna formed the foundation of her life. Communicating with “The Loved Ones” — her Ancestors and the Godforce — has always been natural to her, and for more than 40 years it has been her work, her passion, and her purpose.

A spiritual and holistic counselor, clairvoyant, clairsentient healer, and body-worker, she has traveled across Aotearoa and the world, bringing teachings, workshops, and ceremonies to empower and uplift. Her focus is on supporting women and communities to awaken to their purpose and stand in their power, guided by the values and wisdom of her people.

Her name, Taiha-Moetu, carries the meaning: “I stand in my Power and for My Dreams.” With arohanui (great love), she carries her ancestors’ prayer into every circle: to walk in strength, to remember the sacred connection to Spirit and Earth, and to live as empowered dreamers of a new dawn.
